Renee Reece MHS OTR/L Renee received her Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and Master’s of Health Science from the Medical College of Georgia. Her practice background includes pediatrics, orthopedics and geriatrics. In the area of pediatrics she has treated a variety of diagnoses and age groups including but not limited to autism spectrum, ADHD, cerebral palsy, coordination deficits, developmental delay, down syndrome and sensory processing disorders. Her additional training includes sensory integration, handwriting skills and neurodevelopmental techniques. When she is not working, Renee enjoys hiking and traveling with her husband. |

Linda Townsend Satterly, MS, OTR/L Linda received her master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Breneau University, and brings more than 10 years of experience to the staff of Comprehensive Therapy Children's Center. Prior to joining the pediatric clinic, she was an occupational therapist with the Cobb County School System, providing treatment for children from preschool through high school for varying diagnoses and disabilities including autism, learning disabilities, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, brain injuries and sensory integration disorders. Linda also has worked with Pediatric Therapies of Bartow and Cobb County. Linda is married with three grandchildren. She loves to read mystery books for fun and educational books to increase her knowledge of her profession. She also loves to paint in oils for relaxation and expression. |
Susan Mayne, PT, C/NDTSusan is a graduate of The University of Connecticut. She has over 30 years of experience in the field and most of that time has been spent doing what she loves – “playing” and working with children. She has worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, home health, Babies Can’t Wait, private practice, schools, and clinic. Susan completed the NDT/Bobath Certificate Course in the Treatment and Management of Individuals with Cerebral Palsy and Neuromotor Disorders in 2003. She has completed additional continuing education in torticollis, sensory integration, Theratogs, orthotics, wheelchair management, infant massage, and gait. Susan has experience working with medically fragile infants and toddlers, and children with diagnoses including down syndrome, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, torticollis and autism. Susan believes that collaboration with the other disciplines as well as the physicians, equipment vendors and orthotists is imperative for optimal results for her clients. She has traveled to Mexico, Costa Rica and India and was excited to use her skills to help children in these countries. Susan is married and she and her husband have 2 grown sons. They enjoy watching their children grow into adults, gardening, hiking, kayaking and planning their next trip abroad.

Meagan Gordon, M.S., CCC-SLP Ms. Gordon earned a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from Alabama A&M University in Normal, Alabama. She has worked for six years in the school systems. Ms. Gordon has also worked in acute care and outpatient clinics. She has worked with children with Autism Syndrome, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Cleft Palate, and Emotional/Behavior Disorder. She has planned and implemented communication systems within the home and school environment so that children would be more successful across all environments. Ms. Gordon has worked with and programmed Alternative Augmentative Communication devices. She has worked with patients with dysphagia, aphasia, apraxia, fluency disorders, and receptive/expressive language disorders. She has earned a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech –Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Ms. Gordon is certified by the American Heart Association for BLS for Health Care Providers for CPR. |

Maria Walker, M.Ed. CCC-SLP Maria earned her master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from Georgia State University, and has been a pediatric speech therapist in the metro Atlanta area for more than 10 years. She worked in a variety of settings including the Gwinnett County School System, Babies Can't Wait, Gwinnett Medical Center, and several private clinical settings, before joining the team at Comprehensive Therapy Children's Center in 2003. She has worked for CTCC for the past 7 years, and specializes in treating children with Autism and PDD, Down Syndrome, Apraxia, feeding and swallowing disorders, oral motor disorders, articulation delays, language delays, craniofacial disorders including cleft palate,and a variety of genetic disorders. She has received specialized training and coursework in the diagnosis and treatment of Apraxia including the Kaufman approach, sensory integration treatment strategies, NDT treatment strategies, oral motor diagnosis and treatment including the Beckman approach, treatment of cleft palate, diagnosis and treatment of feeding and swallowing disorders, as well as specialized training in treating Autism and Down Syndrome. Maria lives in Ball Ground with her husband and 2 little girls, and loves to go hiking, camping and to the beach. |

Stacy Irwin, M.Ed. CCC-SLP Stacy earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky and her master's degree from Valdosta State University, and has more than 15 years experience in pediatric speech therapy. Prior to joining Comprehensive Therapy Children's Center, Irwin operated Functional Pathways, an in-home therapy services business. She also has been a speech pathologist with the Cherokee County School System and Cobb Pediatric Speech Services. |
